I'm so happy to see Cesar Millan is back on TV! I have watched his show for years and I watch episodes again and again. The more you watch the more you absorb what Cesar is saying.
My husband and I have not had dogs - which are wonderful, but in our New York apartment over the last 30 years we have had cats. Cats from all different sources and all have found us from out on the street, somehow.
At one time we had a total of four at once.
Here's where Cesar''s knowledge and influence was a great help and learning. Our female cat Hazel was in charge of the others and I observed how she kept order. Cats don't have a pack but do exist in a colony. After Hazel died the youngest male Joe who was very assertive attempted to take over the herd of cats.
I stepped in. Without a word I would stand in front of Joe just as Cesar did/does until Joe acknowledged my presence and sat. Then I would walk away. Soon Joe became a calm but assertive cat and I was the leader. Harmony restored. Thank you Cesar.
