I used to watch this show consistently and used to look forward to every episode, but recently the show has been going off the rails writing wise. People acting way out of character, plot points that are brought up and dropped, and arcs between characters that just drop suddenly. Not to mention it doesn't seem like the writers seem to really care about the feelings or perspectives of their viewers. I get that freedom to write how you want is important but reacting to upset fans with "it's all made up" is infuriating. Made up or not, it's the emotional attachment to characters that keeps people watching.
