Being an old movie from 2004, the VFX is simply stunning. It’s a world destruction movie like “2012”, however the premise of the movie is based on global warming and huge ice storms are raining havoc on the world. The movie start with huge stone shaped ice falling from the sky and accelerates to how humans have messed up the climate so much so that, the nature is taking its course to neutralize it through ice cyclones. There’s even a scene where buildings and , the temperate get as low as -150 F. Besides that, the main plot of the movie is about a father, who is a climatographer, trying to reach the New York Library to save his son.
