One star because practically everything in the movie was false. Meetings, timelines, you name it. Why do they make a movie where they have true facts and then don't use them? The acting was good, but nothing else. Very disappointed. Why can't they use the facts?

Unless you are a Beatle fanatic this will bore you to death. Moderate Beatles fans may enjoy parts of this, but for the most part it is a waste of time. I give it 3 stars because of it's historical significance. The video quality is 5-star worthy. I anticipated this for over a year and was very disappointed. Had there been more full rehearsals of songs it would have been much better. Instead you got snippets and way too much conversation. I thought that the rooftop concert would have been uninterrupted, but instead, you had police and crowd chatter that ruined it for me.

Not a biopic at all, just pure fiction. Ms. Ross did nothing to be like Billie Holiday either in voice or style. That would have been ok if the story was true. Rather than point out all of the fiction, anyone should read her true biography, "Wishing On The Moon" by Donald Clarke. After reading this I challenge anyone to watch this horrible depiction a second time.

Forgot to mention in my initial review that obviously Mr. Mayor had a daughter at age 60. Seeing this 74 yr old man with his 15 yr old daughter is ridiculous. Ted looks old.

A very slow moving movie that thankfully was just 90 minutes long. If you think you're going to hear songs by Ma Rainy, you do, but not more than 2, and not any one of them complete. The chatter between the band members is boring and the film has little action, except for one part. The ending, a 15-20 second segment was good, but that's about all. Ma Rainy is really not the feature of this film, so don't be fooled by the title.

Of course this is not a 5 star movie; it's more like a minus 5. However, it's so awful that it's great. Kong and Godzilla look like 2 rubber string-puppet dolls. Kong is the worst as none of his body parts match the size they should be as he lumbers along. The Japanese backdrop of toy guns and helicopters etc. are side-splitting funny. There were 2 different finishes to this movie depending on what country it was shown on. Godzilla is victorious for Japan, and Kong for the U.S. A great movie to watch when you start drinking alcohol. You won't stop laughing.

The worst remake in the history of movies. The original, made over 40 years prior looked more realistic than this dummy in a monkey suit. They built a robot Kong that was unable to be used in the movie due to it's lack of even being close to looking real. In one brief scene when Kong is breaking out of his chains you get to see this motorized thing for about 3 seconds. It's super obvious how fake it looks. The real Kong was probably turning over in his grave after this debacle. The 1933 original movie was made with stop-motion animation which was a tedious, but rewarding method of making Kong look real. This version was nothing more than a man in a monkey suit. It was so bad that it has strangely become sort of a cult classic.
