I am so happy to see some good reviews of this movie. I loved loved the book and felt like when I was reading it I was living with them. When the movie was released I was so excited and then the critics ripped up the movie awful. I was afraid to see it. Well, I was wrong. I saw the movie last night and I loved the movie too. I think they did a great job of getting the main issues and the "feel" of the book to screen. No a movie can never go into the depth of the writing. But they got it right. The "flavor" of this complex book brought all those same feelings back. I'm not sure if the critics were confused since they hadn't read the book or the critics that read the book were upset that the movie didn't follow the book exactly. A great job by the director, writer, editor and all the actors. Thank you.
