This is, without a doubt, Miyazaki’s magnum opus. Every souls game has something that it does better than the others, this game combines all of those ingredients to make the ultimate soulsborne game. Do yourself a favor and pick this up immediately

It’s safe to go ahead and ignore the 1 star reviews, especially the ones claiming to be by people who “really loved the first game”. Reviews like these make me wonder what game they even played. This sequel truly took everything the first game did and polished up it very nicely. The story isn’t great but neither was the first, everything else is a massive improvement. Combat, parkour, gore.

This game is easily a 10/10. I see a lot of people complaining about Ethan Winters but I have to say, compared to RE7 where he was more of a blank canvas, this time around they really put a lot more character into him and the actor really gave it his all. The story is one of the best I’ve played in any recent game much less a resident evil title. It really tied together nicely in the end and includes past titles in a way that’s incredibly satisfying for a long time fan.

This game is ALOT of fun for someone who lives totally by themselves with no friends, or for someone who’s only friends live far away. Otherwise I’d stay away until they fix it. Picked this up for my girlfriend who lives with me and figured we’d have fun playing together, nope forget that, only 1 island per console and this wouldn’t be a huge issue if I could even make any progress on the island but I can’t. I basically have to wait for her to beat it so that I can unlock any of the games features. They should definitely fire whoever thought that was a good idea
