REVENENT An explorer gets abandoned by his crew due to his fatal injuries and is left on his own This movie is too beautifull for god sake. The picteresque and the cinematography is marvelous. Every shot is iconic. The visuals are gorgeous and powerfull which kind of reminds me(probably because of the real life leanardo dicaprio) how vocal the visuals are ,supporting the urge to admire and save nature. The story is well scripted and engaging and also Inarittu(director) ought to be appreciated for covering a less touched upon genre. About 20 percent of the dialogues are in native languages like rather than english which needs real appreciation, because these dialogues could have easily be made in english if they wanted but they did not. Also u may require subtitles for this one because of the mumbling dialoges in emotional scenes which adds emphasis to the acting part and conveys complex emotions better. These aspects makes the film so realistic. Dicaprio and Tom hardy have done a real good job for sure. Particularly the bear fight is so captivating. I wonder how they shot that!! The vengence theme in this picture was in the first well justified and made the audience feel that it was ethical.... but in the end a kind of philosophical approach is brought...in which glass(dicaprio) says "revenge is in the Creator's hands". The relationship between glass and his mixed son is complex and is well established. There were a lot of brutal and raww scenes which was quite disgusting for me, but this is not a shortcoming exactly as these scenes were very much necessary to make the film more realistic. The film was a quite lenghty beacuse the cinematography and landscape part has been given way lot of noticable emphasis. There has been a lot of emphasis on the language and culture of the ethnic groups of aricas potrayed in the film and there are of lots of other ethnic groups and races brought in too. On the whole this film is definitely a must watch. Particularly for the wonderfull visuals, cinematography(by emmanual lubbezki), direction(by Alejandro G.
