Overall, pretty terrible. Awful acting all around save for the kids who play the siblings. The story has potential but is made so twisty & complicated that it’s bordering on nonsensical. I can’t say there are plot holes, exactly, but there is just so much going on maybe I just didn’t pick up on any. It’s hard to say. A lot of times, I felt like the show didn’t know what it was: family drama/thriller/teen rom-com/Stranger Things wannabe? It’s possible to be a mix of genres, of course, but this show doesn’t pull it off well. It also really bugged me that nobody ever seemed scared or affected in the least by the things that were happening to them. I mean, at one point, the demon lady or whatever had Bode trapped in a circle of fire. After she let him go it was like nothing happened at all. Tyler has sex with demon lady & is then just ok with it? That happened over & over again. The whole show was a mess. I could go on & on, but I guess it’s enough to say it’s a disjointed mess. Too bad bc the concept is very cool.
