This is a book that should be mainly read by all youngsters of India. This book inspires you to dream big and to have a great vision. It contains many answers to the questions that Dr.kalam was asked by the youngsters of India and narrates many incidents of his life.
One such incident which I found the most inspiring to me.
Dr. Kalam was working on a project, his professor, Dr.Srinivasan, on his way to the tennis court, peeped into kalam's room and looked at his work. He realized that kalam was nowhere near completion. He said, 'Kalam if you do not complete it in three days your scholarship will be stopped.' The scholarship was his lifeline, as his father could not afford the high cost of education at MIT. He slept on a bench in the college for three nights and went out only for food. Exactly after three days, DR, Srinivasan visited his drawing board. He spent one hour examining Kalam's work and said 'this is good, you have performed a few week's works in few days.
This incident of kalam's life tells me that if something that you wanted or loved is in an issue or danger, like if it was a situation of losing it, your mind gets ignited and your working capacity gets enhanced and manifold. (you can find more about this incident in chapter 8, building new states)
Thank you!
