It's really disappointing to see people review bombing and over analyzing this show without doing the same for others - it's a trend in the MCU for the shows and movies that are woman or POC led - and something Marvel and Disney have done very little to address and squander -
This is a refreshing show in the space of post-Avengers MCU - Riri gets a bit more exploration into her past causing her pain and drive, introduces her friends and family who all have complicated relationships and connections - and walks the viewers through the moral delima of intention vs action - her intent with following In the steps of Tony Stark are to do good for the world because of her past lived experiences, and uses that mindset to justify her choices and actions that throw her into a really deep well. Natalie is a great addition and the way that she's placed into the story arc brings a warmth and dream to those who have battled the pains of living with heavy loss and deep, long-standing grief... The show is fun, visually engaging and has a ton of potential if people were willing to give it and the actors, crew, director and producers a chance - can't wait to see what the next 3 episodes hold and congrats to Ryan, Dominique, and everyone on the show - also the music is *chefs kisses*
