I am not a professional movie critic but I have watched a ton of movies (actually favorite thing to do). I also never followed or read any of the graphic novels or shows related to the movie. The character development was great, visually stunning movie. Some will say the acting was sub par, I will tell you that it made the characters more relatable. If you take the time to watch this flick and pay attention to what's going on you will watch the main character develope and experience numerous emotions and grow into the role. The ending was left open, hopefully a follow up movie in the works.
