This is a timely drama and gives a needed perspective from that of an immigrant into Canada. Yes, the idea that he would be hired that quickly is fantasy, but it’s heartfelt and shows the hardships as well as heartache those who come to our country endure.

This movie is deeply sad. The performance of the lead actor is expertly crafted and on point. I cried and cried as I realized the world this little boy suffered through. I cried at the world for the loss and the escape. This is a beautiful movie. I truly believe this film should be watched by any one who has ever lived through the agony of abuse and the loss of hope.
