The movie would have been great if they didn’t try too hard. I could honestly pick apart this movie and make it sound worse than it really is but it was at least good enough to pass the time. The main problem of the movie is the forced humor brought by George Lopez performance as Rudy Reyes… who is essentially a carbon copy of George Lopez. If you feel nostalgic for some early 2000’s George Lopez show then this is the movie for you, but if you are watching the movie for the character and hero development of Jaime Reyes, you will be feeling disappointed as his story is generic and predictable at best.

It’s what we refer to as Hulu trash, those filler movies that no one really watches and you put on at night to fall asleep because you don’t want anything too interesting or you won’t fall asleep.
