I am and have always been an avid Linda Ronstadt fan. I loved the look back into Linda’s career with all the music greats who played with her and whom she influenced. It was a nostalgic look back though her career while my mind and heart relived life when I had a wide-eyed innocence. My life paralleled her career and even though she was only 10 years older than me, it was amazing to see the professionalism and finesse she had at such an early age. The only thing missing was more commentary from Linda herself. I saw an interview with Linda a number of years ago on PBS that gave great insight to her life from Linda herself. The Sound of My Voice paid homeage to Linda from the views of musicians, both personal friends and professionals who lived and contributed to her career. Whether you are a music buff or someone who just appreciated her music, this was definitely worth the price of a movie ticket.
