it has been years since I read this book, I was 14 when I did but even at that age I knew it was an absolute gem. Filled with heart, comedy, drama and an Ireland I never met but feel so nostalgic for.
As someone who grew up in the Ballymun Flats (north Dublin), i relate to the Crumlin and Tennament parts so heavily.
Either way an amazing book, will read again along with the continuations,
