In this age of fake news stories (spread through social media & picked up even by MSM), hacking, data mining & troll farms... manipulating our decision-making. And these US filmmakers, they have this bias on us Filipinos, there are so many countries but they would mention us in every chance possible, like in episode 8, there was mention about post on Reddit where services of click farms in the Philippines is used! All in all, I soo love Kiefer Sutherland here as John Weir but he'll always be Jack Bauer to me. Hope to see more action of John Weir, say up to 3 seasons, stretching it so far isn't appealing to me anymore.

Watched reluctantly SEVERANCE, not an easy watch but later can't get enough & wanting more. The theme is futuristic, controversial & intriguingly mind blowing!!! Employees undergo a surgical procedure (is this even ethically/morally right?) to separate work life memories from personal life memories. Waiting with anticipation for the weekly episode...

Finally, watched the movie CODA (Child Of Deaf Adults) only because of Emilia Jones, star of Locke & Key & Marlee Matlin, who was famous in the 90's. A feel-good movie...touching & hilarious at the same time. So many memorable scenes, but what moved me the most is Ruby's audition piece..Both Sides Now, where she starts using the sign language so that her family will 'hear' her sing. I couldn't control myself here, but it's a happy tear, where you feel a joy inside your heart. And oh, Emilia Jones can sing!

I'm just on Season 2 but I'm not liking the way they're presenting Dr. Manning! She's a definition of contradictory, one minute she's so self-righteous and then she's so impossible! I tend to fast forward if she's in the scene!
