Finally, something that actually takes $#$#$ to make and it's stellar. I was blown away how well the cast came together and the incredible production value to boot.
It's dark, funny, character driver comic book crossover gold.
It's going to change how things are done and it will be what TWD has lost. That edge, that freshness, it was common on other channels, but has now made a new home. There is a lot of set-up in the first 2-3 episodes, then it punches you in the face and keeps punching. But it's a fight worth fighting.
I'm going to go out on a limb here and say this is Christopher Meloni's Matrix. As in; just as the Matrix saved Keanu's career, Happy does the same for Chris. He is Nick Saxx and this is his best work to date. Normally if I noticed Chris was part of a cast, I would turn the channel. But those days are gone and he has Happy to thank for that. Maybe that's why he helped produce it.
Congratulations SYFY for making something that wasn't just another low budget waste of time. Here's hoping that trend continues and Happy goes on for years and years.
