I love this movie. And yes - I've heard everybody's complaints with it. Once you get past all that, it's a gorgeous and dark movie... with some very kinky stuff that I'm surprised Lynch got away with. Finally, Toto's incredible score (with the one track by Brian Eno) does not get enough mention in the reviews. The score is dark, beautiful and absolutely timeless. I still listen to it to this day. I'm glad this film redeemed itself and became the cult classic it is today.
