I loved reading this novelette, and the movie is a faithful retelling, so all was good by my standards.. The ending, of course sad as can be, had my girlfriend still crying the next day, and after three years of dating, this is the first time I have seen her cry.

classic movie making of a classic novel. What more do you want.

Enough plot and drama to keep the series moving along, but if you are looking for an escape from life for a couple of hours, this not it. The series touches on every modern day trope (socialism, gun control, election stealing, domestic violence, drug addiction, etc, etc, etc) that makes most people cringe with uneasiness.
