So difficult to create dialogue free of cliches and superficiality but this story does it. It is clever, and does not "play it safe". It's also just amusing and funny enough, not driven so much by plot (which is just credible enough) but by writing that reveals much character in believable quips, so economical so as to allow its primary theme, that of the Gospel, to draw us in. Conversion stories seldom find a cinematic balance that entertains and simultaneously ENLIGHTENS. This is right there with I Can Only Imagine or I Still Believe. Kelly Richardson, portrayed by Anjelah Johnson Reyes, Gavin Stone (Brett Dalton), the church pastor (DB Sweeney) and Waylon Stone (Neil Flynn) SUCCEED!!
