This move was well done but I think it lacked a connection to characters which would have made it better. Knowing the characters a little more, like maybe the pilot had a wife at home that was pregnant after years of trying to concieve. Maybe one of the others we followed had a mom at home that had already lost one son and was broken from it. I love plot, but characters make us connect to the story so much more.
