Bloody amazing show. I wish I had this show around when I was a teenager. EDIT 2023: Season 4 was so heartfelt. The final episode moved me deeply. I loved the series across for so many of the characters -- Aimee, Michael, Eric stand out in particular. Do the world a favor and recommend this show to 3 friends. :)

I like the movie because of this quote from director Domee Shi: "Every girl goes through getting their period, and it's not an adult topic," she explained, adding that "Turning Red" is no different than other topics tackled by the animation studio, "like death, like betrayal, like murder, revenge and jealousy. And I think all of these things are important to kind of teach kids about."
