Hunger Games meets the Matrix, but in a bad way. All the components of a great sci-fi movie are there but the movie stretches itself thin trying to grab a little of everything. Some logical inconsistencies (outside of the premise, after all this is sci-fi) and shaky camerawork during fight scenes interrupted my immersion from the gritty world of the train and pointed my attention to the sheer ridiculousness of the scenes. The ending was wholly disappointing and plot decisions taken by the lead in the last couple scenes were not in character. Dialogue/character development was the best part of this movie and it struggled in many other areas. First thirty minutes were the best part of the movie.
