One Thappad is a sufficient reason to divorce. However, a woman with clarity that she needs only two thing in life "HAPPINESS" and "RESPECT" would never in her wildest dreams contradict by doing chores, pooja, nursing at household she deserted citing the above mentioned reasons. This movie is contradictory at so many levels. Yes, Thappad is a reason for divorce but portraying woman as sati savitri every second is my objection. An empowered woman would never compromise on self respect whereas, in the instant movie the protagonist is seen compromising always. Movie is slow and very boring to be frank. Come up with a good script please .
