This movie is a true classic. It was later remade in color with Jim Belushi in the part played by Bogart, but it is actually better in black and white. It captures the starkness and desperation of retreating in the desert. It also helps that this version was made while we were still fighting the war. There is just more realism involved. It's one of my favorites.
