The movie just tries too hard. The dialogue was unnatural, the convenience of the occupations of each character or other details were shamelessly thrown in your face, the director somehow made some of the good actors in the film look like bad actors, the movie attempts to be clever and meaningful but it’s hard to grasp when you’re distracted by the ridiculousness and the millions of details you end up missing bc there’s just so many that you stop caring about them, the variety of shots just made the movie look more goofy than artistic because the feel of the film just was not consistent, M. Night should stop appearing in his own movies (he’s not a good actor at all! It’s embarrassing at this point)—it was a mess of a movie. And it deserves this mess of a review.
