Ryan Ives

I'm a big fan of the conjuring universe, but this movie was plagued with bad writing, poor CGI and a manifestation of an integral horror figure (the nun) which left it feeling... not scary. She was so much more frightening in the abstract. I also find the origin story of the nun to poorly tie into the universe and just seems kind of like a standalone bad horror film.
