The book is absolutely terrible. Just so cliché and sometimes unrealistic. The love at first sight, that one gay person in the story whose entire personality is built around the gay stereotype, the mysterious boy, getting back at the antagonists by pouring a drink on them. There are also some poorly-written side characters, such as the crush, Oliver, who supposedly likes her but frames her as a boy-stealer? Moreover, the events are also written with the skill and vocabulary of a primary school child. It really allows the cringey parts in the story to shine through. Zoella, please pick a better ghostwriter next time and think of a better plot. Maybe learn more advanced words so you can comment more than just "I love it... It's just so good" when you review a book. If not, don't call yourself a writer.
