Amber Venzon

This had all the makings of a great movie and then didn’t use them. Anti-climactic ending. Contrary character descriptions by the narrator (“so and so went crazy”, “so and so only ever cried at X”) but then the characters don’t act the way they were described to. The screenwriters sunk this. I know nothing about this supposedly amazing up and coming, young talented actor, because they gave him maybe 15 lines. If you’ve seen the movie, you know what should have happened at the end, and then it just didn’t. Very anticlimactic.

Excellent show - seeing the start of WWII humanizes the loss and destruction more than any documentary or movie I have seen before. The character development is fantastic too. Highly recommend.
