Spacechimp64 Ham

I like this show, but it could be better and it seems to be getting there. The show feels more like Star Trek than any of the latest entries in that franchise. I know it seems trite to say, but I think that’s what the creators of this show where going for. This is meant fo all the Trekkies that have been forgotten and ignored by the franchise. The Orville isn’t just a rip off though, it stands on it’s own and introduces some good comedy. So far this season it seems like the writers are doing a better job at creating a balance between the comedy and high concept si-fi drama. I’m hoping that Fox will give this show a chance to develop and get to where it needs to be. So far this show is off to a better start than TNG and think what would have happened if CBS/Paramount gave up on that show before it had a chance to be great. The Orville also doing a great job with dealing with real life issues without being too political or preachy. I think that this is a show that true Si-fi fans need to support. P.S. Discovery sucks.
