Saw the movie. Long time Monsterverse fan here to let Kaiju buffs know if you love EPIC Titan battles between the worlds two most popular Monster Kings, the film most definitely delivers. Though it can be a bit slow at first, primarily due to the abundance of human plots set-up in the film (Which honestly aren't that great for the most part), by the halfway mark its a non-stop battle royale with creative and fist-pumping action sequences. Also, if you are afraid one monster will be treated better than another, don't be. Despite the film appearing Kong centric, as a Big G fan I assure you Godzilla gets his time to shine and it is GLORIOUS! Finally, there are some AWESOME homages to the original King Kong VS Godzilla, one especially which put a big smile on my face. Overall, on one hand, its a film which prioritises action over characterisation (With some characters seeming important but getting barely any screentime). However, on the other hand, its short runtime means the humans don't bog down the film for long and you go from action scene to action scene. So for all those Monsterverse fans out there who wanna see there monster shine and witness the historic rematch between two goliaths, GET HYPED! As Ishiro Serizawa once said: "LET THEM FIGHT!"
