My wife and I just watched Mulan. The movie is below our expectation. It is really hard to understand why the solider commander were easily persuaded by Mulan with just a few words. In addition, the Imperial City is the capital of ancient China. Per my knowledge about Chinese history, the capital city should be heavily guarded all the time. The Northern invaders have no chance to get into the city. In terms of Mulan, I did not see much personal development throughout the Movie. The dialogue is pale and emotional attachment is low.
