There are definitely people that are trying to send down the ratings of this film. Some, expect laugh out loud Ben Stiller and others make comments about the kids hair. Ridiculous. It is a lovely, refreshing film, understated, but in a warm, amusing and perfect take on the freedoms of childhood. Some of the references to shooting stars made my heart sing. People should give this film a chance as it grows on you scene by scene.

Wow. Great feel to this whole film. Dev Patel. Incredible. The framing, lighting and composition of shots and the draw upon Indian culture- just awesome! He is pretty hot too.

Truly incredible film. The photography, acting and writing captures the time in which this film was set, and the dialogue and connection between the two characters/actors is evident. People who give this movie a lower score don't fully understand the symbology explored, the masterful use of tension and expression (the framing of each shot and the lighting- wow) and the brilliance of Cooper in being able to hold his own in conducting was inspiring. I was moved by this film and will be thinking about it for a while.

People are clearly missing the point with this film. I sat watching it with someone who has a very present awareness of women's treatment in society on so many level in the past and present. It demonstrated a time line of events that did happen and then threaded in possibilities (based on a book of course) of how she may have been treated. We know how women were objectified during this time and treated like property of movie studios. Imagine how men were always watching and expecting them to be sexpots. Imagine if they feel pregnant in the middle of a movie. They would be expected to get rid of the pregnancy. Ana De Ramas's performance was incredible. It demonstrated a woman in pain after going through so many traumas. I think it is something we all need to consider that this past wasn't so long ago. Look at supermodels from that 80's. Harvey Winestein. People are saying that is through a man's gaze. That is rubbish. It is showing us 'how' men treated women at this time.

This show gets inside your heart. The human struggle, the tension, the beauty of the landscape and the thoughtful dialogue between characters- just wow. I particular shot out to Sam Elliot and Isabel May (rest of the cast amazing too of course). I feel deeply satisfied mind and soul every time I watch this show.

This is just so original. Highly recommend this abstract show and yet, why hasn't anyone thought of it before. So many interesting levels to this comedy, as well as it being dark in a good way.

Good writing. Slightly staged and wooden acting from two people that are too old for the role- sorry to say it- women supporting women and all- Nicole's face is so expressionless.

Brilliant to watch with your teenager. Can say enough of this show! Great writing and kid acting, amazing sets, lighting, great cast, great, great, all round!!

Just incredible writing and acting. Genius, the moments of visual escapism and expression about mental breakdown, financial struggle and thought process is so evocative, and clever. I can't say enough how good this series is in the way it represents the struggle of a single mother trying to escape the past and family trauma.

Fantastic concept and a poignant message for these times, however, it lost me when they took the hybrid fusion bit too far with a Disney looking midget animal that was clearly CGI and could speak. Very silly. A shame.
