Honestly, after trying the demo, I can give a little bit of my opinion. But I don't think you should really listen to me first since like I said, I have only tried the demo. I really think this game deserves more attention, because this is the first time I've seen an FPS-rhythm hybrid. This game could have been revolutionary. The gameplay is fun, but I was having a hard time to get on beat, not because I am bad at rhythm games, but the game just refuses to count my already on-beat attacks as actually on-beat (I hope you understand what I mean). Alright, I am not a proficient rhythm games player either, nor am I a professional FPS gamer, so here's my one criticism my ears can give:
The audio of the character's voices don't feel like they are coming from the character. It rather feels like it is being spoken by a narrator. Maybe it's just the fact that the voice doesn't correlate with the character's position, but the problem is there for whatever reason it may be.
I'd give this 4 stars. I almost gave it 3 stars, but shocking me with this kind of new genre of games, I think it deserves more. The 2 stars I almost took out were because of that audio problem and the on-beat problem I mentioned earlier. I hope they can be taken into account and make this game in its finest quality.
To conclude this review, the shortest I could describe this game is a high-potential revolutionary game with a few flaws. Thank you for reading my review and I look forward to seeing improvements in this game and maybe even buying it.
