So many shows try so hard to hook you because they fear the doom of low ratings, and the same tricks are used over and over. "Forever" was like waiting for a gourmet meal prepared in front of your eyes. Nothing was forced. You simply got to relax and let it all unfold for you and enjoy the emotions of the characters ordinary "life". I still am blown away by the acting on both Maya and Fred. I didn't know they had those chops. I wish that there was a season 2. The potential is really endless.
