I am so impressed that this show is actually a serious cooking show where the camera work, the editing and the additional graphics make sure the recipe is conveyed accurately. It could've easily be all about Selena and just the drama but I found myself watching with 100% focus (I didn't want to miss any detail). I didn't know who Selena Gomez was. I heard of her name tossed around so I knew she was a star but I had no idea of what she did to become famous until I googled her after a few episodes and wow, she has the #7 most followed account on Instagram, 474 million, or 6% of the world's population!. This is a mega, mega, mega, mega star yet on this show, she is quite relatable to all audiences. She has strengths and weaknesses like all of us but she courageously attack it in a most charming way. So refreshing to see, much better than the farce that the Food Network puts out with shows like "Worst Cooks of America!". Good job, HBO Max!
