Not at all like the book. I wasn't expecting the movie to be an exact replica of the book and some scenes being added and some things like the bombs being dropped being removed of something. But this is a pile of s### compared to the book. Seriously, they got rid of so many major characters such as Mildred, the REAL Clarasie, Faber, the REAL Beatty, and all of the guys at the end on the railroads. Like the only thing (and I'm being totally honest) that the movie got right were:
The basics (like the names of the people they decided to include)
The fight club at the beginning
The woman burning herself with her books
Montag having to burn his books and house down
A network of people memorizing books and known as the books they memorized.
(TL;DR they kept 5 things from the book with 3 of them having any significance.)
In fact this movie is exactly what the book was trying to avoid by limiting your thoughts and emotions to what the movie wants you to feel. Read the book, the story is barely over 150 pages and its a good book.
