One of the most genuine feeling love connections I’ve seen on screen. I grew up watching this movie so it gives me a cozy familiar feeling every time I watch it. It just keeps getting better and better with age. One of my favorite scenes is when Camille, Monica’s mother, tells her that when she said Quincy could do better she was talking about Monica. You could tell in that moment how much her mom’s opinion meant to her all these years. Shout out to mom’s for stepping in because Monica probably wouldn’t have fought for Quincy’s love.

I don’t understand all of the low ratings and bad reviews… this film is like nothing I ever seen.

POWERFUL. I, like many, have followed This Is Us since it’s premiere in 2016. And WOW, the connection I’ve developed with my on screen family is indescribable. Love, loveee, LOVE each and every character in my own unique and special way. Every actor did an amazing job and I can’t wait to see what they do next in their acting careers or wherever their lives take them. Whew! Watching this beautiful series throughout the years has been an emotional roller coaster for me. But something about this last season, especially the last few episodes, really sent my emotions into overtime (but in a good way.) It’s hard to say goodbye and I’m pretty sad that it’s ended but in the words of the This Is Us screen writers… “If you’re brave enough to allow yourself the gift of a really wide perspective..you’ll see that the end is not sad.. It’s just the start of the next incredibly beautiful thing.”

Amazzzing! This movie had me hooked! Great job to Denzel Washington for accurately displaying a true and heart felt journey of black love. The passion between Adams and Jordan was steamy, tempting, and BEAUTIFUL. They both did a perfect job as the leads and the rest of the actors were great as well. This story crushes me. It hurts so, so badly. But what an excellent portrayal of a true story.

I think that it was mildly entertaining, mostly aggravating. The scenes weren’t realistic, the comedy advertised was non existent, and the back stories of the characters were underdeveloped. As annoying as she was, my favorite part about the film was the intense passion the main character portrays. She acted very well due to the fact that I hated her the entire time.

I enjoyed parts of it, here and there. I think it did drag just a little and certain scenes were confusing and unneeded. I don’t completely regret watching it because some scenes were good and made you think.

Carrie is very beautiful, soft spoken, and intriguing. I love how the majority of the movie revolves around you feeling bad for her and wanting to help her out. There are so many strange scenes that are truly creative and some that make you cringe. It' s definitely worth a watch!
