You want to make a "Black Lives Matter" production? Strike while the subject's hot? Why the hell not? It's a great time for ready finance on such a script and there's a film community eager to assist. But why in the world would you describe such an effort not only as a "mafiosa" film but as the long-awaited prequel to the Sopranos... with all that implies? It was like watching two "half-movies," neither of which delivered.
