S Helm

This book was a delight to read. The storyline was descriptive and colorful. I am familiar with many of the areas focused in the storyline. At times I felt that I could hear the sounds of the horses on the trail rides skirting narrow pathways down steep mountain trails and breath in the smell of sage or even pine. One can easily imagine the heat and sweat of the riders and their horses on their typical journey. It was easy to feel the hardships the characters experienced during their travels. I frequently read Westerns and this should be on everyone’s “A” list. Totally entertaining. Steve Helm, Ivins, Utah
