So Quentin Tarantino did it again with #OnceUponATimeInHollywood. He made another great film. He spent much of the film using POV shots as the characters drove through Los Angeles listening to the radio.
Tarantino's attention to detail from the DJs on the radio including Robert W Morgan and the ads they listened to including a promo for a movie of the week on KHJ (I grew up watching KHJ before it became KCAL 9) was fabulous.
All of that combined with the ads on the bus stops and the movie posters and marquees on the theaters which accurately displayed movies that were playing on that date was made it feel like Tarantino took you back in time.
I was so immersed in the world of 1969 Los Angeles that I actually felt like I was in 1969 Los Angeles. #OnceUponATimeInHollywood is a fantastic film.
