Gory, scary, dark like the present American culture which it purports to represent. I loved the beautiful intact Black family, with black values and black hair and styles. A father who is a real father and a mother who's fragile yet strong; with children who are intelligent childlike but resourceful. Notably there were no firearms in the picture. Death and mayhem were up close and personal. The picture smartly named "US" is exactly us...the USA.
