LIKE LIKE LIKE ! It has all the adventurous, hot (slow) burning romance , great great great actors , plot, cinematography, effects , music combined; trilling yet hilarious. I immediately liked the FL it goes in quite smooth on her story n her today headbut strong defiant character; audience can immediately like n feel for her against all her unscrupulous elderly, unloving mom her guard & lack of security even towards her own mom. ML strong protective tender (just for her )yet haunted by dark past. I even liked YSJ when he anxiously protected Niao niao , n feel sorry for his miserable childhood too. He really love her despite only single sidedly. Great chemistry btw ML &FL , Niao niao naive love is adorable. Ooh chicken wings 🤣🤣🤣🤣 It dinT have that FL keep needing ML to save her 3x in a single ep wout fighting a bit more ( which really annoyed me). How strong he/she is doesnt potray in just how well they can fight but not stay down , strong determination to fight in harsh condition &never give up wout a good fight. The suspense how far they will make it to live lovingly tgt with all these scheming plot around, dark past haunting, getting into each other complicated familial relationships , revenge or love challenge.. Fame or peace

Strong smoking (demoness) Female Lead , Male lead is quiet but speaking eyes (damn adorable) not to forget handsome and his devotion for FL that melted their world most badass lady Great chemistry and the best part how they fell for each other.. the ML grow strong, capable, stern but turn instant cute puppy in front of zhao yao , more encaptivating one who silently devote his life n death to this one woman he love &fulfilling her even most dangerous (playful) requests all aiming at revenge. Fantasy a bit confusing (spirit invisible afterlife stuff thats not well narrated, towards the end some of the scenes ML n fL battle just leave audience lost is it battle in the head?) That just spoils this interesting, refreshing drama. Worth mentioning : it make me laugh a lot , if u like strong characters n want a bit light drama, this good . I will rewatch n rewatch just for Xu kai smile , each smirk, spoiling the FL like no other queen . Many interesting side casts too like the Healer , seventeenth , the little red haired that make it fun. < strong smoking FL , matured yet adorable so loving ML > sums it all !

Taste: it has strong Female lead as well as strong ML about love, loyalty, sacrifice. At start it doesnt seem much , master-disciple love seems too overuse theme & this was apparent in the drama in right from start & also the FL becomes the wife of Emperor she dint love?? that plot also familiar and discerning Some of the character were annoying as well, I cant believe the second couple will fall for each other after all that unreasonable thing the second ML did/ is going to do.. it seems like is going in that direction Just stayed a bit for the lively FL and brother. Then it becomes more interesting, the shift of the dark character to slight brighter. Taste: it has strong Female lead as well as strong ML. I always see strong not just in terms of how good they fight but character: determination, unyielding, protectiveness. A lot of actions, with detailed background of state turmoil that the group/ main characters work to resolve. Many wins , the action /fights mostly got good effect and caught my attention and adrenaline except for a few. Love stories are torturous esp btw the ML & FL. Even though is happy ending , but they sacrificed so so much how many years for the new king i dont even want to think , after all that love, country struggles to let common people interest above themselves, again. BUT I FOUND I ACTUALLY LIKE ML & THEIR LOVE IS WORTH. HIS SELFLESSNESS FOR EMPEROR & VISIONS, THEY ARE THE BEST MATCH. CHEERING FOR THEM VERY HARD..

I like the Ying Lok smart , badass, bold, kind. The only part that slightly dislike the drama is the last episode the ending his death. Overall super recommended one of the best Historical C drama. She really work herself to death in order to achieve her goals , her loyalty, her kindness to save the baby

Good ! wish i have started watching it sooner, the beginning draw me a bit curious but not encaptivated after about 1-2 ep starts to like, drawn to know the characters, after that the plot overall was fast & happening. With all the pain , there was also laughter, felt their happiness, up n down , humour, touched, enormous sincerity, friendships, brotherhood as the characters undergo tests of hardships, challenged by injustice &the not blood related family kins. 2 young men who smart ,talented, with totally different upbringing fight against to fight together to stay true to their heart & uphold justice & grew so much and better

Fantastic ! The beginning might seem a bit dull for those who have watched season 1 , (wondering the plot is so similar to 1st) Dont be Put off , every episode of this series is worth it. The drama is sweet, adventurous, good acting. Some part so sweet, some part make me teary. A love n growth journey for the main leads, storyline was well written , every life makes up to their love n growth journey together. the female lead was potrayed with little smartness, some naughtiness, good in martial arts, archery (even thou not very powerful as a young deity), most important her kindness & loyal to love. i love the mortal male lead, he was like the young hearted version of DJ. go 1000%
