I've played a lot of games in my time but none except for a few have been as fun and exciting than this one. Overall I give this game a 4/5. First off, story. One of the many strong suites of the older call of duty games is there ability to tell a gripping and exiting story story(like call of duty World at War and modern warfare 2) so how does this game hold up to those titles? Very well. The campaign pulls no punches in telling a gritty and dark story like how during the story there is a raid on a US embassy and many civilians are caught and killed in the cross-fire and there's an another mission where you use a woman and child as bargaining chips in an interrogation. The story is dark and mature and that's what I like in games.
Multi-player is a masterpiece with weekly updates to play lists and allaroud fun game play, it's not a copy and paste version of call of duty 4 (like MW3 did with MW2) All the guns are stylish and detailed. The graphics are stunning and beautiful. The map design is great there are three lane maps and no lane maps, you have cage maps and humongous maps, you have 3v3, 6v6, 10v10, 32v32, there are so many ways to play and each firefight is different.
Now there are a few things that are bad for instance spec ops, the newer spec ops is difficult beyond belief, it's like halo 2 LASO with a blindfold on except it harder than that. Second microtransactions, these abominations from hell will never go away since they were introduced., granted they aren't loot boxes so that's good.
Overall this is a great game with a few hiccups. 4/5.
