When I was a freshman in college (2007-2008), I discovered Oobi on what was then called Noggin. I can’t quite remember what I was doing exactly as I flipped through the channels that night, but I couldn't stop laughing when Oobi came on.
The more episodes I watched, the more complex I realized the puppets were (watch any character try to eat using utensils - think about that for a minute). I probably saw every episode Noggin had in its arsenal over the years because it never failed to make me laugh hysterically. It just never got old. I probably saw some episodes more than ten times.
A few clips -- namely one from "Showtime" where Oobi and Kako get glued together, and another from "Bathroom" where Uma is covered in mud -- made it to The Soup’s 'What The Kids Are Watching' segment, a real honor for a kids' show. Well deserved for something that aimed to entertain kids and make people laugh.
