They took all personality away from Chucky which is what makes the originals so great. The fact that he is a human in a doll creates the entire story and energy of the franchise. This isnt so much a remake as it is a whole new story. They shouldve named it something different instead of feeding off the Child's Play franchise. This is more of a rogue robot movie than a Child's Play. Overall was a decently done horror movie with a couple jumps, good enough character development, and a story line to be a more enjoyable new idea than sitting, watching, and comparing.
