The movie is well constructed and a great story, and Mark Ruffalo is great. There are a lot of flashbacks but the editing is great and you can understand everything. My only complaint about the movie is the music. First of all, there is too much of it. But I find a lot of movies today do this. Some scenes would be so much better without any background music. I have no problem with the instrumental music. But the song choices are loud and very irritating, so much so that I found myself using the mute button a lot. There isn’t one song by any group that I have ever purchased or would I. It is hard enough that many of the scenes are difficult and irritating themselves, but add the music to the mix and it’s just too much. So big thumbs down to the persons responsible.
