I have watched the Good Doctor seasons 1-3 unwavering with anticipation. I love the show, with that being said, I believe it takes about 3 seasons to get acquainted with the personalities of the characters and the writing style. I think that kind of building creates a powerful foundation, If down the line characters change it should be done with compassion for the audience’s sake and based on the popularity of the Good Doctor means to me that other viewers feel a camaraderie as well. To lose an important character such as Dr. Melendez is devastating for the show. Also I love Lea’s character but I think taking Jessica out so soon takes away all the work Dr. Murphy endured to be comfortable within himself. We as viewers would have liked to see Shawn strengths sexually before he runs back to Lea. I think with all the changes including new characters and the great loss of Dr. Melendez is to much. Please reconsider theses changes. In the past, from my experience changing up people to soon will cause the show to lose its audience.
