I enjoyed. It had a lot of symbolism and an interesting plot. Definitely not for people who don't like to think as they watch a movie.

It is a well-made movie with an interesting plot. It is more about being gay in the navy than a romantic relationship although that relationship plays a key role in helping the main character discover who he is. Overall, I give it a thumbs up.
