All bad reviews are from people who don’t think it matches up with the book. If you’ve not read the book/ have read the book and can appreciate the show as a separate thing based on the book rather than an extension of the book, you’ll probably enjoy it. Like ‘World war z’ has literally nothing to do with the book it’s based on but it’s still considered a good film in its own right.

Sarah Jane Smith is such a loveable character

Proper funny & v entertaining with good characterisation. Did I mention that it was funny? ‘It’s dead fruity’

Great film. Never been so stressed in my life. The critics are muppets. Does make me wonder the cause of all these famous missing planes... everyone jumps to blame the pilot but this film shows just how easy it is for people to get the wrong idea about who dunnit. Seriously seriously intense 👌🏻👌🏻 Neeson great as per. Only complaint might be the ending wrapped up very suddenly and quickly but apart from that it was pretty unpredictable and exciting

A really sad, frustrating but beautiful film. Angelina Jolie is amazing as Christine Collins. To think what might have happened to the real christine if the case hadn’t been exposed is haunting. In case anyone is interested, there was another lead into what might have happened to Walter - two men said they saw him with a foreign couple and one of them chased this couple but they drove off. But then the murderers mum, who was actually an accomplice of his, said that they had killed Walter, so who knows. It doesn’t really matter but I just thought I’d add it.

🦕 🦕 I thought it was great, if somewhat depressing

I liked it. It’s clever, engaging, angelina acts well (and looks absolutely beautiful with short hair) I didn’t expect the twist to be as intense. You root for her character throughout. I’m actually tired of seeing good films get bad reviews from ‘critics’ but good reviews from normal people. Perhaps that says that films are not meant to be overanalysed, not meant to measure up to a silly checklist of what makes a good film good.

A beautiful film carried by a beautiful character. The ending was necessary and not cheap like others have suggested. That’s how it happened. It wasn’t predicted, it happened upon these people. The messages were important. Everything you do in life will be insignificant. But it’s important that you do it because nobody else will.

This is a beautiful film and it always will be. One of my favourite Disney films. It teaches children that we are all one family, regardless of species 🐻 the songs, setting and characters are all perfect.

I liked it. Freeman and judd played very likeable characters. It could have been a bit more tense and had a bit more story to it but I didn’t predict the twist at all :)
